In sectional warping, yarns from creel bobbins are wound tangentially onto beams. The number of warp yarns wound onto the beam is limited by the capacity of the creel. These prepared beams are combined through a beaming process to achieve the total number of warp yarns required for weaving. If sizing is to be performed, the beams are directly loaded onto the beam stands of the sizing machine and combined during the sizing process. This warping system is generally used for warps that will undergo sizing. Sectional warping machines are also known as direct warping machines.
Yarns coming from the creel pass through the comb and are wound onto the beam in parallel alignment and with equal tension. After the sectional warping process is complete, the prepared beams are combined to achieve the desired number of warp ends.
The sectional warping machine consists of three main parts, which are observed to be technologically improved and modernized. These parts are:
- Creel
- Warping Comb
- Beam Winding Section
The machine operates at a speed of 1000 m/min with stepless speed control. The creel is configured according to the desired number of bobbins. Beam loading and forward-reverse movements are carried out with a simple mechanism using chrome-coated shafts. A mobile blower system is available for dust removal. Additionally, a mechanical sensing system for yarn breakage control is included.
1) Accordion Comb System
- Opening-closing and right-left movements of the comb.
- Adjustable transverse comb movement (shancer) system.
- Prevention of fiber and dust accumulation on the comb with an air-blowing system.
2) PLC / Operator Panel
- Electrical systems controlled by PLC.
- Touchscreen operator panel for controlling all functions.
3) Beam Pressure System
- Uniform yarn winding density achieved with a smooth and precise pressure drum.
- Peripheral speed adjustment based on the increasing diameter using an electronic diameter measurement system.
4) Beam Loading - Unloading and Braking System
- Caliper disc brake system at two separate points.
- Safe and sudden stopping in cases such as normal stop, emergency stop, yarn breakage, or completion of the desired length.
In our standard productions, the working range of the beam is manufactured as 240 cm. The sectional warping machine has a length of 2 meters and a width of 4 meters.
The working range of the beam can be customized according to the specific requests of companies. In general, the available beam size ranges in our production are 180 cm, 200 cm, 220 cm, 240 cm, and 280 cm.
